As a condition of the biennial renewal of a license, each licensee shall complete a minimum of 30 credit hours per biennium of continuing education that meets the requirements of Section 457.107, Florida Statutes.

*NOTE: there is a $20.00 charge for FSOMA to provide a replacement or duplicate CEU certificate. Per Florida Board of Acupuncture, it is your responsibility to keep your CEU Certificates. We understand that things get lost or misplaced occasionally. Reissuing CEU certificates requires FSOMA staff spend significant time to backtrack FSOMA records and to confirm with CE Broker the accuracy of the records. Thank you

Continuing education programs relating to laboratory tests and imaging findings will be considered as biomedical sciences.

For the first renewal period after initial licensure, the licensee is exempt from the continuing education requirements, except for the continuing education hours mandated for the 2 hour medical errors course and the 3 hour HIV/AIDS course. All credit hours must be earned within the biennium for which they are claimed.
