As a condition of the biennial renewal of a license, each licensee shall complete a minimum of 30 credit hours per biennium of continuing education that meets the requirements of Section 457.107, Florida Statutes.

*NOTE: there is a $20.00 charge for FSOMA to provide a replacement or duplicate CEU certificate. Per Florida Board of Acupuncture, it is your responsibility to keep your CEU Certificates. We understand that things get lost or misplaced occasionally. Reissuing CEU certificates requires FSOMA staff spend significant time to backtrack FSOMA records and to confirm with CE Broker the accuracy of the records. Thank you

• Acupuncturists do not have to complete the continuing education courses during the biennium in which they are initially licensed. Licensees must complete the required Continuing Education for every biennium thereafter.

• All credit hours must be earned within the biennium for which they are claimed.

• Credit hours earned for the purpose of reactivating a license, which is on inactive status, is not applicable to the continuing professional education requirement for biennial license renewal for the period in which such credits are earned.

• HIV/AIDS is only required for licensees at the time of their first renewal ONLY. Contact the Board of Acupuncture directly if this applies to you.
