If you use Alcohol prep pads, swabs, and swabsticks made by Triad Group you need to be aware the company has issued a voluntary recall due to contamination by Bacillus cereus. There has been at least one non-life-threatening incident of skin infection noted.

Here’s how to determine if you are using one of these products:

The affected Alcohol Prep Pads, Alcohol Swabs and Alcohol Swabsticks can be identified by either “Triad Group,” listed as the manufacturer, or the products are manufactured for a third party and use the names listed below in their packaging:
