As a condition of the biennial renewal of
a license, each licensee shall complete a minimum of 30 credit
hours per biennium of continuing education that meets the requirements
of Section 457.107, Florida Statutes.

• Acupuncturists
do not have to complete the continuing education
courses during the biennium in which they are initially licensed.
Licensees must complete the required Continuing Education
for every biennium thereafter.
• All
credit hours must be earned within the biennium for which
they are claimed.
• Credit
hours earned for the purpose of reactivating a license, which
is on inactive status, is not applicable to the continuing
professional education requirement for biennial license renewal
for the period in which such credits are earned.
• HIV/AIDS is only required for licensees at the time
of their first renewal ONLY. Contact the Board of Acupuncture
directly if this applies to you.
