About FSOMA

In 1984 FSOMA (Florida State Oriental Medical Association) was formed to promote the profession.  Today we are 300 members strong and growing.  FSOMA offers continuing education credits for practitioners, lobbies the Florida Legislature and communicates with the Board of Acupuncture to ensure the profession remains strong.

The Florida State Oriental Medical Association is a non-profit membership organization established for the purpose of:

  Promoting Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine:

Through the sponsorship of educational and public relations’ events, FSOMA’s desire is to provide a resource for the citizens of Florida when information is needed regarding Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. FSOMA’s 800 number: 800-578-4865 and web site at FSOMA.com serves as a communication line for the public. Educated consumers can then protect themselves by making informed decisions regarding their health, as well understanding how they should choose an appropriate Acupuncture and Oriental medicine practitioner.
